Saturday, December 2, 2017 the Phoenix Public Library attended the Annual Village of Phoenix Tree Lighting. With the support of the Century Club the Library was able to give 140 holiday goody bags to children. A great time was had by all!

The Phoenix Public Library Board of Trustees will be unveiling a plaque in honor of Gordon Tappan on Wednesday, May 9th at 5 PM. Gordon served the Phoenix Public Library as a trustee and Board of Trustees President for 50 years. He was instrumental in the development and construction of the current library facilities.

Phoenix, NY alumni Joe Grosvent, Max McKee and Greg LaPoint have continued making their musical impact across the country with thier music group, Phoenix Eleven. Since leaving their Central New York roots for Nashville, Tennessee in 2014, the guys have toured through over 40 states with national artists, Josh Gracin, Rich O'Toole and for the live theater production, Live From Nashville!
